About this Role

The Accounting Administrator is responsible for Front Office and New Hire administration, and executing Accounts Payable duties. 

What You'll Do

  • Handle incoming calls, e-mails, and company related correspondence daily.
  • Sort and distribute mail. Reply promptly to requests.
  • Keep up-to-date records/filing system.
  • Take accurate meeting minutes and e-mail to recipients.
  • Maintain and replenish office supply inventory.
  • Collect new hire documentation and perform assigned onboarding tasks.
  • Post and job code credit card purchases in online portal. Obtain all receipts from cardholders.
  • Facilitate and set up new vendor applications.
  • Process accounts payable invoices timely and accurately.
  • Follow up on required approvals to ensure payment process is met.
  • Reconcile A/P statements monthly.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies with receipts, invoices, and outstanding payments.
  • Provide backup support to other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Prior Administrative and Accounts Payable experience; two years preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, including spelling and grammar.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to adhere to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for accounting deliverables.
  • Aptitude to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Identify and resolve issues appropriately.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Technical capacity.
  • JDE and Kofax APA experience a plus.
  • Proficient in data entry, Microsoft Office

Pay- $ 25.00 - $ 31.00       /Hourly *Depending on Experience
