JOB TITLE: Power Platform Solutions Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, IT

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a hands-on Power Platform Solutions Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and support our next-generation business applications. The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle—gathering requirements, building solutions, ensuring compliance, and providing ongoing support—while applying strategic thinking to align technology solutions with business goals in a regulated (CMMC, SOX, DCAA, ISO) environment running in GCC-High.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Power Platform solutions.
  • Design and build applications in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) using Dataverse.
  • Implement Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, and reminders.
  • Configure Business Process Flows (BPFs) to manage proposals and pipeline stages.
  • Build Power BI dashboards for pipeline visibility, project tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Integrate and manage SharePoint for document storage, permissions, and workflow integration.
  • Apply role-based access control, auditing, and governance aligned with SOX and CMMC.
  • Manage ALM (Dev/Test/Prod environments) using solutions, versioning, and backups.
  • Provide documentation, training, backlog management, and support for business users.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and change management procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Proven track record delivering workflow automation and business process apps.
  • Experience replacing or extending legacy business systems (CRM or Project Management tools).
  • Strong knowledge of security roles, compliance logging, and least-privilege design.
  • Experience working in compliance-driven environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Power Platform Associate or Expert.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in regulated environments (SOX, CMMC, FedRAMP, HIPAA, or similar).
  • Familiarity with GCC High environment constraints and connector limitations.
  • Background in project management workflows (RFIs, submittals, scheduling, document management).
  • Experience integrating Power BI for reporting and analytics.
  • Knowledge of ALM Accelerator, Azure DevOps, or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines in Power Platform.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise change management processes.
  • Power Platform / Dynamics / Microsoft 365 track.
