About this Role

Join a forward-thinking supply chain team driving large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.

As a Buyer (I, II, or Senior), you’ll play a key role in the procurement lifecycle—sourcing, negotiating, and delivering critical materials and equipment that keep projects on track. Depending on your level, you’ll grow from mastering core purchasing processes to leading complex procurement strategies and supplier partnerships. This is more than just purchasing—it’s strategic supply chain leadership in action.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • Supply chain certifications (APICS, CPP, CPIM, CSCP) preferred.

  • Buyer I: 0–2 years of procurement or supply chain experience.

  • Buyer II: 3–5 years of procurement, planning, or supply chain experience.

  • Senior Buyer: 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in strategic procurement and supplier management.

What You'll Do

  • Support or lead (based on level) purchasing activities for key project materials and equipment—from planning and sourcing to order execution and delivery.

  • Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and performance; negotiate favorable terms and pricing.

  • Coordinate logistics strategies to deliver materials on time and within budget.

  • Act as the main liaison between internal teams and suppliers, providing clear communication and updates.

  • Identify risks and propose solutions, such as alternate sourcing or expediting.

  • Use ERP systems to track procurement data, monitor inventory needs, and ensure accuracy.

  • Resolve supplier or delivery issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to maintain project momentum.

  • Contribute to strategic sourcing efforts, including RFx execution, cost analysis, and supplier performance reviews.

  • Partner cross-functionally with project management, planning, and quality teams to align purchasing with project and business goals.

  • Senior Buyer: Lead high-value negotiations, mentor junior buyers, and influence broader sourcing strategies.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.).

  • Negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills that grow in complexity by level.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong business acumen, organization, and decision-making ability.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%; valid driver’s license required.

What You'll Get

  • Play a vital role in advancing renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the country.

  • Collaborate with a team that values innovation, improvement, and results.

  • Gain exposure to strategic sourcing and supply chain excellence, with growth opportunities across all levels.
