About this Role

As our Licensing Specialist, you'll manage contractor licensing across multiple states, ensuring compliance and operational continuity. This role is perfect for someone proactive, analytical, and collaborative.

What You'll Do

  • License Management: Research state licensing requirements, prepare applications, and proactively track renewals across active and target states.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations to ensure company adherence and advise internal teams; maintain a centralized database of all licenses and RME/RMO information to ensure continuous operational compliance.
  • Agency Coordination: Liaise with state boards to resolve issues and ensure timely approvals.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Keep organized records and generate compliance reports.
  • Audit Support: Assist legal and compliance teams during inspections and audits.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Align licensing efforts with company policies and train internal teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot licensing delays and streamline processes.
  • Other related duties and projects as assigned
  • Process Improvement: develop and refine strategies for redundancy for license classifications and RME/RMO

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, legal studies, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in operations, compliance, licensing, or customer service
  • Experience in construction, solar, or contractor licensing is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with multi-state licensing and regulatory filings is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations across jurisdictions
  • Proficiency in tracking systems and managing multiple deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with agencies and internal teams
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Persistence in navigating regulatory processes

 

What You'll Get

Pay- $   75,000    - $ 90,000        /Annually *Depending on Experience
