We’re seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Procurement Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of purchasing and subcontracting for high-value infrastructure projects. You’ll handle everything from RFP development and bid evaluation to contract execution and material delivery, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

This role involves domestic travel up to 50% to project sites, giving you hands-on exposure to T&D, substation, and infrastructure projects while supporting EPC teams directly. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead procurement, sourcing, and buying for EPC projects, supporting both project pursuit and execution

  • Partner with Project and Procurement Managers to align schedules, budgets, and strategies

  • Build bidder lists, manage pre-qualifications, and ensure commercial, diversity (MBE/WBE), and corporate compliance

  • Prepare and issue RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and recommend contract awards

  • Coordinate technical reviews with EPC engineering teams and ensure contract flow-down requirements

  • Draft and finalize supplier and subcontract agreements per internal and client standards

  • Manage supplier relationships, track procurement risks, and maintain status reports

  • Support materials management and resolve delivery, shortage, and damage issue

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of direct procurement experience within Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) environments

  • Expertise managing vendor/subcontractor RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and material logistics for construction-driven projects

  • Hands-on experience with supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, expediting, and delivery coordination on large, high-value infrastructure or capital projects

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Logistics, or related field

  • Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills with meticulous attention to contractual detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams

  • Proven ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional EPC project teams

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments

  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership, field teams, and external suppliers

Preferred:

  • Established vendor/subcontractor network in Transmission & Distribution (T&D), energy, or power infrastructure

Travel:

  • Willing to travel up to 50% to support project and construction site needs
