About this Role

As Risk Analyst for QPS, you will play a pivotal role within our Internal Operations. Your responsibilities include assisting with prime contract documentation, including working with leadership to maintain our key areas of general contractor’s licensing and bonding.

What You'll Do

ESSENTIAL/ NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Assisting Marketing and Project Managers in administering prime contract, insurance, and/or bonding documents, as needed
  • Interacting with Marketing, Operations, and Project Managers to anticipate and assist in managing project contractual, licensing, bonding, and/or insurance needs
  • Requesting and maintaining all Prime Contract-related insurance and bonds as required
  • Assisting Project teams with obtaining and maintaining all project-related state, county and local business licenses relating to the prime contract
  • Obtaining and maintaining all certificates of insurance, and bonds when required, relating to the prime contract, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Assisting in obtaining permits for field projects as required per city and county requirements
  • Developing a means of communicating business and risk-related issues (primarily around licensing, insurance, or bonding) to key construction operations management staff
  • Assist with project close-outs as related to the prime contract. Includes working on:
    • Lien Releases
    • Insurance
    • Substantial/Final Completion
    • Warranties
    • Bond Close-out
    • File Archiving
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned as by the Internal Operations Director.

 

What You'll Bring

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of contracts and risk experience within the construction or service industries

 

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

Language Skills:  English, Advanced level required

Mathematical Skills:  Intermediate level required

Reasoning Skills/Abilities:  Intermediate level required

  • Working Knowledge of Risk Management Principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
