Senior Scheduler
Project Location: Eagle Mountain, UT (75% on Project Site, M-F).
Ideally seeking candidates who reside in Utah or within close commuting distance.
QISG has an immediate need for a Senior Scheduler to support a simple-cycle power generation project designed to power a data center. This is a construction-only project located in Eagle Mountain, Utah, and the selected candidate will be required to be on project site approximately 75% of the time, Monday - Friday.
The project is a 286MW simple-cycle power generation facility with an approximate duration of 22 months and ~$250M in revenue. While prior simple-cycle power generation experience is highly preferred, it is not required. Strong utility, EPC, or heavy industrial construction cost control experience is required.
Start Date: ASAP
This is not a contract position — it is a full-time, permanent role with QISG. Upon completion of this project, the individual will transition directly onto another active project within the organization.

QISG is seeking a Senior Scheduler to support a 286MW simple-cycle power generation project powering a data center. Develop and maintain Linear Schedule Method (LSM) and Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules, integrating cost- and resource-loaded plans that drive project efficiency
Collaborate closely with engineers, estimators, procurement specialists, suppliers, and trade contractors to create, baseline, and update project schedules using industry-leading software
Align project schedules with financial goals by connecting the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to the Financial Breakdown Structure (FBS)
Produce cost- and resource-loaded schedules, generate cash flow curves, and track earned value metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Support project teams in optimizing work sequences, improving productivity durations, and proactively managing risks
Perform schedule analysis, time impact analysis, and maintain thorough documentation to ensure project transparency
Champion short-interval scheduling practices and support continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to high-visibility projects that directly impact infrastructure growth and community development
Independently lead project scheduling with minimal oversight
Partner with Project Managers, Project Controls, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure alignment of schedules with execution plans
Generate reports, dashboards, and analysis for leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Project Controls Execution Plans and QISG standards
6+ years of experience developing resource- and cost-loaded schedules, with strong understanding of earned value metrics
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 required
Familiarity with TILOS and Acumen software is a plus
Direct experience working with design, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams on heavy construction, power delivery, or water infrastructure projects
Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
Self-starter with strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Ability to be onsite ~75% of the project duration

Additional Details:
If the employee does not currently reside in the Eagle Mountain, UT area and requires temporary housing for the duration of the project, rental expenses may be charged to the company P-card.
The company P-card will also be used for approved business travel expenses.
