About this Role

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of power generation, EPC, renewable energy, and industrial infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, including EPC agreements, construction contracts, O&M agreements, procurement contracts, and vendor services while protecting the organization’s commercial and legal interests throughout project execution.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key advisor on contract strategy, negotiations, risk management, and commercial compliance, helping ensure projects are executed efficiently, compliantly, and profitably. This position requires strong leadership, business acumen, negotiation expertise, and the ability to collaborate across project, legal, procurement, and executive teams.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full contract lifecycle including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, executing, and administering contracts for EPC projects, materials procurement, construction services, O&M agreements, and vendor partnerships
  • Lead contract negotiations, redline reviews, and commercial discussions with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Partner closely with Legal to align contract language, risk mitigation strategies, compliance requirements, and commercial protections
  • Serve as the primary advisor to project leadership teams regarding contractual rights, obligations, commercial risks, and claims exposure
  • Develop and maintain contract administration processes, templates, clause libraries, and tracking systems to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Maintain accurate databases of key contractual milestones, deliverables, obligations, notices, and commercial terms
  • Support claims management, dispute resolution, and change order negotiations through detailed contract interpretation and project documentation analysis
  • Collaborate with project management, procurement, finance, operations, and executive leadership teams to align contracts with operational and strategic business goals
  • Monitor contract compliance and ensure adherence to company policies, project requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Identify and proactively mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and mentor Contracts Administration personnel and support future team growth and development initiatives
  • Assist with proposal reviews, bid evaluations, subcontract agreements, and procurement support activities as needed
  • Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, vendors, legal counsel, and stakeholders regarding contract matters
  • Travel occasionally to project sites, vendor locations, or client meetings as required

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of contracts management experience, preferably within EPC, industrial construction, power generation, or infrastructure environments
  • Strong experience managing materials-focused contracts, procurement agreements, and vendor negotiations
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Strong understanding of legal and commercial contract terms, risk allocation, and project execution requirements
  • Ability to interpret contracts with both legal precision and practical business judgment
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and SharePoint
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms preferred

Preferred Experience

  • EPC, electric power generation, renewable energy, transmission, or industrial infrastructure project experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting claims analysis, dispute resolution, and commercial negotiations
  • Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction project delivery models
  • Knowledge of commercial risk management and procurement processes within industrial environments
