About this Role

The Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager in the successful execution of large-scale Advanced Power Generation projects. This role assists in coordinating on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

The Assistant Site Manager plays a key role in day-to-day field operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, while gaining hands-on experience managing mission-critical environments.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with overall site coordination across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
  • Support the Site Manager as a key on-site contact for contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Help coordinate daily work activities, scheduling, and sequencing to align with project milestones
  • Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements
  • Assist with identifying, tracking, and helping resolve site issues, risks, and conflicts
  • Participate in site inspections, progress tracking, and reporting updates to leadership
  • Support supervision of field engineers, construction crews, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and accountability
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, as-built drawings, and change orders
  • Track site logistics, materials, and workforce utilization to improve efficiency
  • Assist with system testing, commissioning, and project handover activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal standards

What You'll Bring

Required Experience and Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 3+ years supporting large-scale industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects
  • Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
  • Experience working on complex construction sites with multiple trades and contractors
  • Familiarity with construction safety practices and regulatory requirements
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite
