Senior Scheduler/Planner

Project Site: Eagle Mountain, UT | 75% Onsite | Monday–Friday

The Role:
Support a 286MW power generation project through integrated CPM scheduling, Primavera P6, critical path and delay analysis, EVM, forecasting, recovery planning, and field execution.

Preferred Experience:
EPC, power generation, utility, heavy industrial, or large-scale construction.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Own LSM and CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for project planning and field execution.
  • Develop, baseline, update, and analyze cost- and resource-loaded schedules aligned with project execution.
  • Coordinate integrated schedules across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, PM, suppliers, and trade partners.
  • Maintain WBS/FBS alignment for cost tracking, forecasting, and EVM.
  • Analyze EVM, KPIs, cash flow, productivity, and schedule performance to identify risks and trends.
  • Lead critical path, longest path, delay, and Time Impact Analysis (TIA); develop recovery strategies.
  • Drive look-ahead planning, work sequencing, productivity tracking, and resource coordination with field teams.
  • Partner with project leadership, contractors, and clients to communicate schedule status, impacts, and recovery plans.
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, forecasts, and progress updates for leadership and clients.
  • Independently lead project scheduling and planning while following QISG Project Controls standards.

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • 8+ years scheduling/planning experience on EPC, utility, power generation, heavy industrial, or large construction projects.
  • Strong Project Controls background with EVM, forecasting, critical path, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Advanced Primavera P6 skills; able to independently manage complex, integrated, cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
  • Proven ability to identify schedule risks, analyze impacts, and drive recovery actions.
  • Experience with TILOS, Acumen, or similar scheduling tools preferred.
  • Strong collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, PMs, field teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present schedule status, explain impacts, and develop recovery strategies.
  • Able to independently lead scheduling/planning on complex construction projects.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • Ability to work onsite 75% of the project, Monday–Friday.
