POSITION OVERVIEW:
QGS is seeking a Principal Enterprise Costpoint Architect to serve as the Accounting & Finance subject matter expert, functional owner, and principal architect for Deltek Costpoint. This role owns Costpoint system architecture, configuration standards, roadmap development, upgrade strategy, and integration design while remaining hands-on across the full accounting lifecycle—including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Cash Disbursements, Accounts Receivable and Cash Receipts, billing, and labor and leave. This role supports Costpoint across QGS's current and future subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and joint ventures—including those established through acquisition or new business formation—and helps configure and evolve Costpoint's organizational structure to align with QGS's evolving business needs.
This is a hands-on principal-level role that combines day-to-day system administration and end-user support with strategic ownership of Costpoint architecture and continuous improvement. The Principal Enterprise Costpoint Architect partners with accounting, finance, project control, and program teams to configure the system, resolve complex issues, manage integrations, and ensure the platform can scale with QGS’s evolving operational needs.
This role is ideal for a seasoned Costpoint professional with deep government contract accounting knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across teams to bring accuracy, consistency, and reliability to critical financial systems and reporting.
